How to Add a Watermark to a Video in 3 Steps
A browser watermark tool for creators who ship.
Upload your video
Drop in an MP4, MOV, WEBM or AVI clip up to 60 seconds. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Add text or a logo
Type your handle or brand name, or load a PNG logo. Drag it into place, then tune size and opacity.
Export
Render the watermarked video at full quality and download it — no signup, no watermark-on-your-watermark.
When a video watermark tool helps
Brand protection
Stamp every asset that leaves your studio so reposts carry your name with them.
Copyright marking
Mark review cuts and drafts before sending them out — subtle, dated, undeniable.
Creator credit
Add your @handle to clips made for reposts and collaborations so attribution travels.
Content tagging
Label internal footage with project codes, versions or approval states.
Client previews
Watermark draft edits for approval — clients see the work, not a free final.

Video Watermark FAQ
Is this video watermark tool free?
Yes. Adding a watermark runs entirely in your browser, so there is no server cost — no account, no usage limits, and Kinoify never adds anything to your export besides the watermark you designed.
Can I add a text watermark to my video?
Yes — type your text, pick a color, and the tool renders it as a crisp overlay at any size. You can also load an image logo instead, or run the tool twice for both.
What image formats work for a logo watermark?
PNG, JPG and WebP. PNG with transparency works best — it composites cleanly over any footage, while a JPG carries its own rectangular background.
Can I position the watermark and control its opacity?
Yes. Drag the mark anywhere on the preview, or snap it to one of nine anchor positions. Size (as a share of the video width) and opacity both have sliders with live preview before you export.
Will adding a watermark reduce the video quality?
The clip is re-encoded once to composite the watermark, so choose a high quality tier for delivery work — at Very High the result is visually indistinguishable from the source.
What are the length and size limits?
Videos up to 60 seconds and 200 MB are supported, since the composite runs on your device's memory. For longer videos, split the clip first with the free video splitter, then watermark each part.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The watermark compositor is ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly running inside this tab. Your footage never touches a server — you can even disconnect after the page loads.
How is this different from the watermark remover on the homepage?
This page adds a watermark to a clean video. The homepage tool does the opposite: it covers existing watermarks, logos and text on footage you already have — blur, mosaic or black, also fully local.
